If you want to get a coffee and maybe a cake in a romantic atmosphere of the mid nineteenth century you can't miss a stop at the Café Central. The architecture of the Café is romantic style and it is considered the most famous café in Vienna. It is located in Herrengasse 14.
Il ristorane Ilona Stuberl in Braunerstrasse è vicino a piazza Graben. I camerieri sono cortesi (anche se parlano poco l'inglese), l'ambiente è raccolto e caldo, la cucina è tipica ungherese/austriaca. Non perdetevi il gulash di Maria.
Un altro buon ristorante, fornito anche di buoni vini, è Immervoll in Weihburggasse, vicino a Stepanplatz. Un po' più caro del precedente ma con un'ottima cucina locale e sempre pieno di gente.
Another good restaurant with a good lis of good wines is The Immervoll in Weihburggasse, near Stepanplatz. It's a bit more expensive than the previous one but with a good local food and always full of people.
Il nostro preferito è stato Santo Spirito in Kumpfgasse, vicino a Stepanplatz. Prezzi buoni, cucina buona e atmosfera rallegrata dalle opere sinfoniche riprodotte in filodiffusione nel locale. Si trova in una zona centrale ma molto appartata. E' l'unico posto in cui abbiamo lasciato la mancia :-)
Our favorite hs been Santo Spirito in Kumpfgasse, near Stepanplatz. Good prices, good food and atmosphere enlivened by symphonic music played in the room. It is located in a secluded corner of the centre and...it's the only place where we left a tip :-)
